/about
A real platform. Not a content farm.
AudioLab.tools is a working lab, a knowledge base, and a product incubator for the overlap between audio and AI. It is built by people who ship audio products, not people who write about them.
AI in audio has spent five years split across two camps. On one side, the model-of-the-week — a new TTS, a new generative music engine, a new "enhance" button — each launched as a standalone product and each fighting for the same SEO real estate. On the other side, the legacy DSP world that has known how to actually measure and shape sound for decades, but doesn’t speak the language of indie creators or modern product teams.
The interesting work happens in the seam between those two camps. That’s where AudioLab.tools sits.
The platform brings six product lines — MixLab, VoiceLab, HearLab, SignalLab, CueLab, SkillLab — under one brand. They share a design system and a writing voice. They do not share a roadmap. Each lab earns its own space because the audience and the monetization route are different.
We don’t do "enhance"
No black-box "make it sound better" buttons. We surface readable metrics and let you make the call.
We don’t generate stock voices
There are enough of those. VoiceLab makes the voices you already have sound better.
We don’t medicalise hearing
HearLab is non-medical. We never imply diagnosis or fitting. Audiologists do that work.
We don’t do AI for AI’s sake
DSP, signal analysis, and good UX still solve most problems better than a model. We use AI where it earns the seat.
Want to build with us?
We’re looking for design partners across all six labs — people who are willing to actually try the tools and tell us where they fall down.
